We promote appropriate antibiotic prescribing

Antibiotic resistance is a public health concern and antibiotic use is a major driver of antibiotic resistance. Join to receive personalized antibiotic prescription feedback and benchmarking, best practice guidelines and more.

Mounting public health concern

Antibiotic resistance is a mounting public health concern calling for action on global, national and local levels.

Antibiotic use is a major driver of increasing rates of antibiotic resistance. Misuse of antibiotics impacts everything from our food and water supply to providing access to affordable medications and vaccines.

This has given rise to the practice of antibiotic stewardship, which seeks to promote appropriate antibiotic use.

Antibiotic stewardship takes time

Antibiotic stewardship has been increasingly applied in hospital settings, but adoption has been slow in other care settings including veterinary medicine and primary care. Audit and feedback systems of antibiotic use coupled with patterns of antibiotic use and best practice guidelines have proven useful, but scale-up is limited by heterogeneous systems of care and limited resources.

Our Solution

An open web-based system that allows for advanced stewardship interventions in the form of feedback and benchmarking as well as sharing of best practice guidelines and antibiotic resistance patterns.

The model will have the ability to rapidly expand across health systems, countries, and sectors, with minimal resource expenditures.
